In order to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) around the world better respond to the challenges of COVID-19, the International Labour Organization (ILO) global team developed two new Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) modules: the Gender Equality module and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for SMEs in late 2020.
As an Expert Trainer for the ILO SCORE project, Amanda Xu, Co-founder and Operations director at NEWAsia Solutions Limited, was contracted by the ILO to localize the training materials of SCORE Gender Equality module and Business Continuity Planning for SMEs from English to Chinese. She then went on to provide in-class training of the two new SCORE modules to more than 60 SCORE trainers in Guangzhou, in April 2021.
