MSRL Project Launched

NEWAsia launched the Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL) capacity building project for nearly 200 participants from more than 100 suppliers and local SMEs, comprising textile, dyeing, footwear, accessories, bags, chemical vendors, and laboratory industry clients.

The one-day seminar offered insights and solutions to MRSL protocol, strategy, and management systems, and covered:

Part A: MRSL Protocols

  1. MRSL definition and evolution
  2. MRSL case study and trends
  3. Understanding your MRSL

Part B: MRSL Management System

  1. MRSL system, practice, resources
  2. Chemical management practice
  3. Risk prevention scenarios

MRSL capacity building project helps brands, suppliers, chemical vendors, authorities, and labs to control the risks from manufacturing processes by creating and implementing effective MRSL protocols and management systems.

This project also offers a platform for stakeholder engagement.

Project Objectives:
