NEWAsia Solutions Limited organized a workshop on the “2014 Employee Relations Outlook and Solutions” in Shanghai on March 4, 2014, in cooperation with the Fair Labour Association (FLA) and the ER Club.
The objective of this seminar was to explore and highlight employee relations solutions in the prevailing market climate and guide decision-makers on how to best deal with the labor practices challenges that lie ahead.
During the seminar, Mr. Zhao, Director of Labor Bureau Supervision department, Shanghai Municipal Human Resources & Social Security Bureau, and Ms. Kay Yip, Director of the ER Club, conducted a seminar on Employee Relations, focused on the following five sections:
- Forecasting employee relations in 2014
- Risks and opportunities from new legislation
- Authorities’ supervisory radar,
- Brand and stakeholder response and key issues for employee relations
- Establishment of employee relations team and management system
A book donation ceremony marked the second session. Mr. Asia Wang, Managing Director of NEWAsia Solutions Limited, shared the Compact of Employee Relations Legal Requirements with Mr. Zhao to further communication and exchange on improved labor relations in China.
A similar training seminar was also conducted in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province on March 5, 2014.
